My 1st weekly update on the performance of my habits.
I will post the record weekly and summarize the achievements and major obstacles occurred during the week and also give brief explanation when adding new habits and/or revising old habits. If you have any questions or want me to add more details, please let me know. Your comments are most welcome!
Summary for this week:
- After reading The Power of Habit book, I started my track record of my habits. I start with 5 habits on health and fitness and plan to add more habits into other categories such as work, study, etc.
- I did okay for this very first week on 3 of 5 habits – by achieving a perfect week.
- I missed 1 day from “Run the Stairs” as I actually forgot to do it on Tuesday, however no more excuses, I set up a time at 8 am every morning and also record the time I used to run from lobby to 19th floor (as it feels like I am completing with myself everyday) in order to help with the consistency.
- I missed 3 days from “Wake up at 5 am”. Laziness is my biggest weakness, so this habit did not start very smoothly, by Wednesday I figured out a way by putting clothing right beside and bed and add a little incentive – I can wake up and play 5 minutes games. It seems working better.
